- September 2024: I visited colleagues and collaborators at the University of Twente, University of Oxford, and PMMH at ESPCI and gave talks at Twente and Oxford.
- April 2024: I accepted an Assistant Professorship in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan and I will be starting my new role in January 2025. In the coming months, I will be looking to recruit graduate students. More details will be provided soon.

- November 2023: I attended the 76th Annual Meeting of the American Physical Society’s Division of Fluid Dynamics in Washington, D.C. where I gave a talk on the ”A small-scale experimental facility to study the formation and dynamics of droplets in the presence of aerosols particle”
- October 2023: Our article on the effects of surfactants on plunging breakers was published in the Journal of Fluid Mechanics. It was covered by a Focus on Fluids article by Detlef Lohse and highlighted by the editor
- October 2023: I was selected as a 2023 Rising Star in Mechanical Engineering and will be attending the workshop at the University of California, Berkeley
- August 2023: Jessica Wilson’s article on the aerodynamic interactions of drops on parallel fibres was published in Nature Physics
- July 2023: Our two part paper on wave profiles and droplet generation by plunging breakers was published in the Journal of Fluid Mechanics (see part 1 and part 2)
- May 2023: I attended the 29th Wind Waves in the Earth System held at Princeton University, where I gave a talk on the effects of surfactants on plunging breakers
- May 2023: Our artwork on the effects of surfactants on plunging breakers was selected as a finalist by the Art of Science 2023 event hosted by Princeton University, see it here
- May 2023: Our article on the Comparison between shadow imaging and in-line holography for measuring droplet size distribution was published in Experiments in Fluids
- January 2023: I attended the American Meteorological Society’s 23rd Conference on Air-Sea Interaction in Denver, Colorado
- November 2022: I attended the 74th Annual Meeting of the American Physical Society’s Division of Fluid Dynamics in Indianapolis, IN where I gave a talk on the ”Transport of Inertial Droplets in a Turbulent Boundary Layer” and submitted a Gallery of Fluid Motion video, click here to see it

- June 2022: Our article on speed and acceleration of droplets generated by breaking wind-forced waves was published in Geophysical Research Letters
- May 2022: I attended the 28th Wind Waves in the Earth System (WISE) meeting in Brest, France, where I gave a talk on the Speed and Acceleration of Droplets Generated by Breaking Wind-Forced Waves
- January 2022: Baptiste’s article on the role of contamination in optimal droplet production was published in Geophysical Research Letters
- November 2021: I attended the 74th Annual Meeting of the American Physical Society’s Division of Fluid Dynamics in Phoenix, Arizona. See talks I was involved with here, here, here, and here
- May 2021: Baptiste Neel, Dan Ruth, Megan Mazzatenta, and I conducted a one month experimental campaign in the Air-Sea Interaction Laboratory in Lewes, Delaware.
- October 2020: I’m now a postdoc in Luc Deike’s group at Princeton!
- April 2020: I successfully defended my dissertation titled “The Dynamics of Plunging Breakers and the Generation of Spray Droplets”
